Today is 2026/01/31 and this week I went back into game development after a few (4~5) years.
It's always been a dream of mine to make a videogame that I can look and think "Yeah, I'm proud of that one!" but college made it so I didn't had much free time to work towards that goal, but now, with only 2 finals and a thesis left I found myself with a lot more free time (To be fair, any amount of free time is more free time than the last few years lol) and in my firs week of vacations I had on a LONG time I found myself watching a Godot tutorial at three in the morning (The best time for making important decisions), now that I've wasted invested this vacations on learning a new engine and finding out that my rusted "kinda decent" pixel art habilities are not as rusted as they should be, I decided that yeah, life too short, me wanna make a game, me do a game.
Now, this is not the first time I attempt something like this, all my previous attempts failed eiter because at a certain point I found that the project I was aiming to make was a little too ambitious, or because I kinda stop liking the project after a while, so to prevent the second issue I decided to make a dev-blog that hopefully force me to commit, and for the other... I'll try my best!
So with the introduction done,
